Based in Villarrica, Chile, Épica Audio is the first company in the country dedicated to developing audio plugins. We craft creative tools designed to empower music producers, engineers, and artists around the globe. Our mission is to merge technical precision with artistic expression—delivering plugins that not only sound exceptional, but also inspire new sonic possibilities.
The idea for Épica Audio was born when ambient musician Nico Rosenberg completed a Master’s degree in Sound Studies in Berlin. Together with renowned music producer and mix engineer Arturo Zegers and musician-programmer Ignacio Palma, the three founded the company—combining their diverse talents in audio engineering, design, and software development to push the boundaries of modern sound processing.

Nico Rosenberg
Engineering & Creative Director / Founder
Nico is the driving force behind our technological advancements and the visionary mind behind the design and creative direction of our plugins. His background as an ambient musician and academic in sound arts fuels the unique sonic character of Épica’s products.
Arturo Zegers
Executive Director / Founder
Arturo leads the company’s management and strategic vision while also designing the user interfaces of our plugins. As a respected music producer, he ensures each product is both artistically engaging and functionally intuitive.
Ignacio Palma
Technical Director / Founder
Ignacio oversees all technical operations and ensures our technological framework runs smoothly. Having formally studied guitar and later turned to programming, he brings a deep musical sensitivity and technical expertise that bridges the gap between artistry and innovation.
